The ozone layer has always fascinated me. It is essential for humans to live on the planet earth. It acts like a shield which bounces off the harmful rays from the sun. If the ozone layer was not there to stop these rays humans would get effected by these rays. In Australia the ozone layer has a hole. One out of every three surfers in Australia get skin cancer due to this hole. Now image there was no ozone layer.
Now, imagine a blackish red sky everyday... isn't it depressing? Believe it or not the ozone layer is what makes our sky blue. When the sun rays come through the ozone layer the light is scattered. When the light is scattered we see the blue light and thus our sky is blue. Now imagine the earth without the ozone layer. Very depressing and lots of people with skin cancer...
